SASORO Learning & Inspiration is a nurturing organization where you can pause, reflect, and rise. Here, we celebrate the power of story, the strength of community support, and the beauty of learning that heals. Whether you’re seeking personal reflection, inspiration, or improved study skills—your journey belongs here.
SASORO Learning & Inspiration is the heart of my work—a space born from lived experience, cultural strength, and the transformative power of education, fueled by community support.
I am a Native American woman, raised in a family that taught me strength, independence, and pride in who I am. My father, a Marine, instilled discipline and grit, while my community provided the values of tradition, resilience, and connection.
As a young girl, I transitioned from my home into a boarding school—an experience that changed everything. It was there I first heard the phrase: “You walk in two worlds.” Those words stayed with me. They weren’t just about navigating cultural differences—they were a call to honor both my heritage and the opportunities education could offer.
Boarding school planted the seed for my personal reflection on education. I began to see it not just as a path forward, but as a way to empower others like me. I carried that vision through my undergraduate studies in education at the University of Arizona, and now into my graduate work in Learning Design and Technology at Arizona State University, where I focus on study skills.
SASORO Integrity LLC is my legal business name. But SASORO Learning & Inspiration is the platform where I begin—sharing stories, reflections, and eventually workshops and talks that uplift and educate. It’s not just a business. It’s an organization for storytelling, for teaching, and for inspiring others to walk boldly in both worlds.
As a Native American educator and graduate student in Learning Design and Technology at Arizona State University, my teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that learning is a relational, transformative experience. I view education not just as the transmission of knowledge, but as a journey of empowerment—one that honors each student’s story, strengths, and cultural identity.
I am passionate about supporting college success because it offers potential learners the tools to navigate academic life with confidence, clarity, and purpose. Through my organization, I aim to share the study skills, emotional intelligence, and digital literacy strategies that have shaped my own educational journey. My approach is rooted in inclusive and culturally relevant design, with a focus on creating learning spaces—whether in-person, online, or asynchronous—that are welcoming, learner-centered, and grounded in mutual respect.
While I am not currently teaching in a formal classroom or college setting, I am building a platform that empowers others through community support, storytelling, reflection, and active learning. I walk alongside those I serve, helping them connect academic tools to their lived experiences. My work is especially responsive to the needs of Indigenous learners and first-generation college students, with the goal of fostering not only academic success but also personal resilience and self-awareness.
As I continue my graduate studies, I am committed to deepening my understanding of instructional design and culturally sustaining pedagogy. I see teaching as a sacred responsibility—an opportunity to uplift others, foster belonging, and inspire courage. It is an honor to guide students as they walk in two worlds, and I am dedicated to helping them do so with strength and integrity.
SASORO will not be measured by metrics alone. Its success will be felt in the emotional connections sparked during a workshop, the shared silence when a story lands deep, and the laughter that comes with sharing lived experiences. It will live in the moment a young woman says, “I see myself in this,” and in the quiet strength of those who begin to believe they belong. SASORO is not just an organization; it is a living legacy of integrity, inspiration, and walking boldly in both worlds. It is where learning meets healing, and where personal reflection becomes a source of power.
I strive to keep walking. Not behind. Not ahead. But beside. Beside the women who carry wisdom in their eyes. Beside the youth who are still learning to trust their voice. Beside the communities who deserve spaces that reflect their truth and receive community support. What’s to come for SASORO is not just growth—it’s legacy. A legacy of light, learning, and love. And it’s only just beginning.

🙏 A Prayer for the Lost
God of mercy, gather your children from the streets, the shelters, the corners of despair.
Wrap them in warmth, in dignity, in hope.
Remind them they are loved—not just by us, but by You.
Heal their wounds, soften our hearts, and bring them home.
Home to safety. Home to love. Home to You.
Let this day be more than awareness. Let it be a turning point. Let it be a promise.
No one should be forgotten. No one should be alone.
